Human and Organizational Performance is based on 5 simple principles: People Make Mistakes, Blame Fixes Nothing, Learning and Improving is vital, Context drives behaviour and How you respond to failure matters.
During my presentation HOP vs Traditional Management Systems with Dylan Short my stance is that by putting the lens of HOP around safety programs, we can better predict and improve safety within our organizations. I'll be arguing that these principles are meaningful, and have influence and power over how management philosophies are used.
